New Office 2007 Tutorials Provided Free of Charge
FREDERICK, Md., Sept. 14, 2007 -- In Pictures has released five new tutorials on Microsoft Office 2007 programs. These tutorials are provided free of charge at http://www.inpics.net.
The new tutorials show how to use the 2007 versions of Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word. "We think the new Office interface is an improvement," says In Pictures General Manager Chris Charuhas. "However, it's also different, and that means Office 2007 users must learn to do old tasks in new ways. These tutorials provide an easy way to get up to speed."
At http://www.inpics.net, anyone can use the tutorials free of charge. Since the site was launched in January, over 250,000 people have used the tutorials there. Sponsorship, rather than banner advertising, generates income for the site. Right now the site's sponsor is Visilearn, which provides similar tutorials to schools and corporations.
While most site visitors come from the U.S. and Canada, traffic from developing countries is growing quickly. "We got a nice email last week from a computer instructor in Pakistan who was using the tutorials," says Mr. Charuhas. Because the tutorials are based on pictures instead of words, they're becoming popular among computer users for whom English isn't their first language.
