Software that Demonstrate Modern Way to Send Handwritten Notes

BROOKINGS, S.D., June 16, 2007 (medianowonline)- In an effort to promote more personal business communication, Talario has announced a downloadable version of its Notegram software along with a free interactive webinar. Both offerings highlight a modern way to use handwriting to add a genuine personal touch to email and postcard marketing.
"Most people realize that personal relationships drive their business. What most don't realize is that email has made their relationships less personal, which inhibits their business potential," said Tim Aughenbaugh, Talario's president.
"The Power of Handwritten Notes" is an interactive thirty-minute webinar that highlights the large number of sales that are derived from relationships, and outlines why salespeople often neglect the activities that would generate them the highest return. Information is presented on why handwritten notes are proven to generate referrals and build repeat business, and a demonstration is given of the latest technology that makes handwritten notes more effective and easier to send.
The company decided to make the webinar available to a broader audience after 94% of their existing customers responded it was a valuable use of their time, said Aughenbaugh.
Each webinar includes live polling, which allows attendees to state their individual opinions and immediately see how they compare with those of the group.
"The interesting thing we learn is that most people intuitively understand the power of relationships in their business, but they only invest a small part of their effort toward building those relationships," says Aughenbaugh. "We show attendees how they can benefit from more personal communication without taking much extra time. A high percentage of attendees tell us their perspective is changed as a result of the experience."
Talario also announced that it is now making its Notegram software freely available via download on the Internet. Previously released in November, this software is part of a system that uses a digital pen to send personal handwritten notes via email or postcard through the Notegram delivery service. Notegram enables users to quickly jot notes with a personal touch, while automating the hassle usually associated with mailing handwritten notes.
"By making a free download of Notegram available, we allow people to customize handwritten notes with their own logo, picture, and business message," said Aughenbaugh. "They can then send sample messages and see the impact of Notegram with their own look and feel before deciding to purchase." To use the system with their own handwritten notes, customers must purchase a digital pen and annual note delivery service.
The free webinar and free software are both available at www.notegram.com.

DocuLex Provides 'Instant Document Access' with Archive Studio 4

Web 2.0-based document management software business embracing the web as a platform and utilizing its strengths
WINTER HAVEN, Fla., June 15, 2007 (medianowonline)- DocuLex, creators of electronic document management software, announces the release of Archive Studio 4. Comprised of Goby Capture, Office Capture and WebSearch, Archive Studio provides users with easy-to-use, automated, networked and web-enabled document management capabilities. Archive Studio was created specifically for use by businesses seeking affordable, thorough organization and management of must-keep information. Archive Studio features secure Web 2.0-based "Instant Document Access" from any location via the Internet including permission assigning and Active Directory integration.

About DocuLex Archive Studio 4 Component: WebSearch

WebSearch is an easy-to-use, Web-based document management program developed for use throughout a business's operations to enable secure "Instant Document Access" from any location with convenience of use that is similar, yet easier, than an Internet search engine. Searches may be performed using document-specific meta-data descriptions, full-text content, as well as date ranges, search history, search lists and saved searches.
WebSearch is now a workflow enabler, providing users the ability to share and amend native format documents, while organizing and tracking each amended version.
Documents of any file type may be uploaded directly to WebSearch, indexed (with additional document identifying meta data added remotely if necessary) for native format storage and ease of access. The program's SQL or SQL Express database support handles substantial file data storage, providing users with Microsoft's off-the-shelf database power. The Active Directory integration enables heightened security and user permission access and tracking.
WebSearch also serves as a document hosting facilitator, with advanced public-key infrastructure (PKI) providing encryption and digital signature security for outsourcing daily-use information access to the electronic file storage.
Beneficial to the user is an updated visually appealing interface, with functionality that is easier to use than an Internet search engine's keyword query. The server-based software automates complex documentation organizational functions including browser-based file room views and group collaboration folders.

The program manages multiple levels of security, including Organization, Community, Group, Users, as well as individual files. Document and user activity tracking logs are always available, assisting in compliance of privacy laws including HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley.

About DocuLex Archive Studio 4 Components: Goby and Office Capture
The easy-to-use programs provide simplified paper and electronic file capture and indexing from all desired hardware resources, including desktop, network and production scanners, digital copiers and FAX. The capture programs include streamlined capturing of electronic files and emails directly from your MS-Office applications, in addition to utilizing the Send-to feature from the familiar Windows Explorer. Once captured, Archive Studio's WebSearch manages the documents throughout their life cycle.
Goby Capture enhances the walk-up and scan capabilities of a network scanner or digital MFP copier. With Goby running from a network or hosted server, users can scan and "index" their business documents at the device without any requirement to learn and operate a scanning application.
Three methods of scanning and indexing paper may be used: 1) scan documents along with a profile form generated at your desktop or line of business application; 2) scan documents and index from the MFP touch screen; 3) scan documents and index later from the WebSearch inbox.
Office Capture is a desktop application that is easily operated by a document imaging beginner while flexible for experienced users. The program supports TWAIN-driven desktop, production and MFP scanning units.
With a setup wizard enabling a quick-start to new scanning projects, Office Capture enables the complete document imaging spectrum. Simply scan all documents of interest and then enter the document meta data descriptions at a later date. Document meta data entry is easier than ever with the newly improved design focused on rapid entry to complete the task.
The final step is for the OCR engine to analyze and create full text data, then generate searchable PDF files and output to Archive Studio's WebSearch document management system.
About DocuLex
Incorporated in 1996, Winter Haven, Florida-based DocuLex creates open-system document management software for use with desktop and production document scanners, as well as digital multifunctional copiers, facsimile and wide format units. Through an extensive reseller channel, the company offers network-enabled document capture and image processing software along with Web-based search and retrieval programs, bundled and offered as Archive Studio. Archive Studio is easy-to-use, productive electronic document management software for any business environment seeking secure "Instant Document Access." CDT Selects Semifore for Control Registers

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 15, 2007 (medianowonline)
- After a thorough evaluation, CDT has selected Semifore's CSR Product Suite to assist in the design and verification of their next generation of TMA (Total Matrix Addressing) displays.
"We used Semifore's CSR product suite for our latest design, which has over 50 control registers. Semifore saves our development team time since we only have to specify the registers once. The register decode Verilog, all of the C headers, and the documentation are generated automatically, and are always in sync with each other," said David Warren, hardware design engineer at Cambridge Display Technology.
"Semifore has extensive experience helping companies manage and build configuration registers," said Richard Weber, chief executive office of Semifore. "The address map of current SOC designs has reached a level of complexity which renders its specification and subsequent modification prohibitively expensive if the hardware, software, verification, and technical publication teams must independently manage and transform this information to finish the product."
CSRSpec is the next-generation language with a powerful set of features that include:
-- Hierarchical address map specification: arrays of objects, groups of CSRs
-- Reusable templates for configurable IP blocks
-- Object oriented architecture
CSRCompiler generates hardware, software, and documentation views:
-- Verilog or VHDL RTL and headers
-- C or Perl headers for firmware
-- HTML web pages for design team
-- Framemaker or Word for internal and customer documentation
-- Spirit IP-XACT XML

About Semifore
Semifore provides address maps for both new and legacy designs. For legacy designs we offer design services to import your existing register maps into CSR Spec. We can do this on a case-by-case basis, or fully-automate the process depending upon your needs. We offer both design services and license CSR Compiler on an annual basis for your use on-site. Our single web-based source for your address map provides RTL, C and design documents views. Semifore provides accurate address maps as the design evolves. Semifore Inc. was founded in 2006 to provide accurate specifications across functional teams. More information on Semifore can be found at: www.semifore.com

Ease Software, Inc. Introduces SATA-on-AIX

AUSTIN, Texas, June 4, 2007 (medianowonline)- Finally, IBM's powerful AIX(R) operating system has met its storage match. Ease Software, Inc. (http://www.easesoftware.com) today released SATA-on-AIX, the only pure SATA disk solution for IBM's System p(TM) servers.
SATA-on-AIX provides extremely high-speed, low-cost disk solutions with 250 megabytes-per-second actual transfer rates per SATA port - and at under two dollars per gigabyte for a complete disk solution, SATA-on-AIX offers surprising value at the enterprise level.
"SATA is the newest technology for today's computers, and it is as robust as SCSI for AIX. The user interface is 100 percent AIX, so there are no new tools for the AIX user to learn. The SATA disks install, configure and are managed just like a SCSI disk," explained Perry Smith, Ease Software president. "Even better, it's a fraction of the cost of similar products. We strive to provide options, including one for the user who needs only 250G."
To see just what SATA-on-AIX delivers, one need look no further than the ten-terabyte external disk system. Occupying a single PCI or PCI-X slot in the AIX system, the configuration includes the PCI-X host bus adapter with four SATA ports, each connected to a five-bay hot swappable mini disk tower. Each bay contains a Seagate Barracuda ES 500gb disk, and the system includes all required software. The total price: $18,449.99. It's just one of the many possible configurations of which SATA-on-AIX is capable.
So how does Ease Software get AIX support right? The company was founded by IBM veterans who worked on AIX RS/6000 from its inception in 1998. Thanks to that specialized experience, Ease Software is able to offer clients the latest in software, documentation and new features. The company's disk solutions use state-of-the-art SATA disks, controllers and port multipliers; advanced features like Native Command Queuing are already incorporated. Ease Software products work with any PCI-based system running AIX, including p5, pSeries and RS/6000. SATA-on-AIX currently supports AIX levels 5.3 and 5.2; in the future, the company plans to support older levels like AIX 4.3.3 and newer levels like AIX 6.1.
"The bottom line is, we have what it takes to make - and keep - our clients' businesses productive by ensuring their systems are also working," said Smith. "By using our knowledge of how AIX and RS/6000 systems work together, we can add considerable value to our clients' businesses through products like SATA-on-AIX."

Advanced Scripting Engine for ProTraderFX Platform

PFSoft announced the release of a scripting engine for ProTraderFX platform. A combination of development tools and a new scripting language, ProTrader Scripting enables Forex traders to develop, debug, test and refine strategies for automated trading and technical analysis indicators.
ProTraderFX Scripting features include:
-- A language-independent compiler, currently providing
full support for the PTL (ProTrader language), MQL4
and MQLII programming languages
-- Numerous ready-to-use technical indicators and trading
strategies written in different scripting languages, an
extensive array of embedded platform and system functions
-- The PTL Builder integrated development environment,
equipped with script debugging and back-testing tools,
including step-by-step debugger, variable watch system
and runtime analysis
"We have been developing this scripting facility for the past 2 years. And I firmly believe that this effort is well worth the time, because this is something truly new and helpful for the trading community," says Denis Borisovsky, the Founder and CEO of PFSoft. "What we tried to do is to make the huge number of existing scripts written in various languages accessible to our users, and to give strategy developers the tools we programmers cannot think of doing without."
Delivery of PTL Scripting takes ProTrader another step further as a versatile trading platform for both professional traders and investors. The improved extensibility lets ProTrader integrate with other systems in several ways:
-- Scripting integration using PTL Builder Multilanguage
environment and ProTrader scripting engine
-- Server-side integration using the Back Office API
-- External feeds integration using the Routes API
"Our recent releases of .Net and Java terminals attract more people to use ProTrader," Denis explains. "We have quite a few new ideas up our sleeve, and this release is in a way a bridging step to implementing these ideas. Thank you and hope to meet your expectations in the future."
